Issues

Fiscal Sustainability
Public Safety
Housing Affordability

Dublin has had the fortune of being in a fiscally strong position for many years. However, as Dublin reaches build out, we will face the same structural budget challenges that many other cities have. As a Councilmember, I will ensure that we take a proactive approach to stabilizing our city’s finances for the future. I will prioritize preserving investments in public safety and maintaining our parks and public spaces, which provide an affordable way for residents to enjoy our community.

Public safety is critical to maintaining a high quality of life. As a Councilmember I will advocate for continued investment in public safety, including first responder services and technology solutions to help combat crime. I will also focus on improving traffic safety for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers in our community.

The high cost of housing is one of the greatest challenges we have in the region. As a Councilmember, I want to ensure that Dublin continues to be a part of solving the housing affordability crisis so that our residents can afford to stay, and future generations can call Dublin home. By focusing on infill and transit oriented development opportunities, we can continue to contribute to housing production while minimizing sprawl and new infrastructure that we need to
maintain.
